Montego Bay

Negril Beach and Ricks café

$35.00
When your ship arrives in Montego Bay, meet your guide at the port and board your air-conditioned coach or minibus for your shore excursion to Negril. After the 1.5-hour drive along Jamaica’s beautiful north-western coastline, which takes you past rural villages and the Lucea harbour, arrive at Negril’s famous beach, a 7-mile (11-km) stretch of sugar-white sand and bright turquoise water. This friendly former fishing-village-turned-beach-resort town has managed to retain its rustic charm despite the rise in tourism over the last few decades. Negril's 7-mile stretch of beaches has been voted one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world by several travel magazines. Enjoy spectacular views on your drive out to the coast while your tour guide shares fascinating facts about Jamaica and points out places of interest along the way. Upon arrival, you will have approximately 2 hours to enjoy the sandy white beaches your way: take a swim in the warm Caribbean waters, join in one of the many optional water sports such as kayaking or parasailing, or just stretch out on the sand and work on your tan. From there you will head to Rick's Cafe, a famous bar and restaurant frequented by locals and tourists alike. Pull out your camera to capture stunning panoramic views then watch in amazement as divers jump off a 100-foot platform into the shimmering turquoise waters below. Let their performance inspire you to do your own 33-foot cliff dive nearby (hint: try to land on your feet). If time permits you can do a little shopping before your return trip back to the cruise ship terminal at Montego Bay. Be sure to bring swim wear and a beach towel. Please Note: Restaurants will be available for lunch (at your own expense). Remember to bring your swimwear, sunscreen and beach towel.
Ocho Rios

Prospect Plantation & Dunns River Falls

$75.00
Your friendly tour guide will meet you just outside your cruise ship pier in Ocho Rios. You will get checked in, on board the air-conditioned transportation and the fun day begins. You will get lots of information from your excursion guide as you head to your first stop at Prospect Plantation. This is a great way to get out and see Jamaica with a nice combination of sightseeing around Ocho Rios, a visit to a working fruit plantation, shopping and a memorable climb up Dunns River Falls in this unique Ocho Rios Cruise Excursion. When you arrive at Prospect, you will be taking a short drive of the estate on a tractor-drawn jitney (hayride). The guide will point out the different crops growing like sugarcane, bananas, pineapples, coffee, papaya and more. This is an educational as well as an entertaining excursion. During your tour around the plantation, you will be offered various samples of fruit. You will also be given the opportunity to see the famous "Farmer Brown" climb a 35ft coconut tree barefoot to cut down coconut and then you can try the fresh coconut water. The Prospect Great House filled with antiques, and offers panoramic views of the Caribbean and the Gardens. Your next stop on this shore excursion from Ocho Rios will be shopping and you will enjoy a typical Jamaican light lunch. Then you will be off to see the famous Dunns River Falls! An experienced falls guide will go over all the techniques and safety tips with your group before having you join hands and make a human chain as he leads you up the falls.
You can stop along the way to take in the view and enjoy a fall's created "massage" as the water pours over the rocks onto your shoulders. Guests also have the option just to relax in one of the river pools at the bottom to watch. After your Ocho Rios shore excursion adventure, the transportation will take you back to the cruise ship pier.
Montego Bay

RASTAFARI INDIGENOUS VILLAGE

$53.00
This cultural theme park is dedicated to the cultural contribution of Rastafari to Jamaica. The Rastafarian Indigenous Village is a space that will showcase the life, skills and experiences of our people. Visitors can take a tour of the village to learn about the ways of Rastafari, participate in organic farming, and learn to make traditional crafts or receive lessons in music. Visitors, including residential guests, are encouraged to interact and participate with the Villagers while remaining respectful of principles, relationships, and private spaces. The tours begin in the Tropical Gardens on the Montego River, just outside of Montego Bay. You will be lead from here through a shallow river into the village. As you approach you'll hear the drumming and chanting getting louder. On the tour you'll be told about Rastafarian life including the principles of living in harmony with nature and the role of Hailie Selassie. The chef then gives a tour of the village kitchen, showing the vegetables, herbs and spices used in Rastafarian cooking, showing the nutritional and culinary importance of each ingredient. You will also be given a tour of the village herb library where your guide will explain the medicinal properties of the many herbs grown there and, in some cases, those which scientists are beginning to investigate for their use in scientific remedies. The village also has a meditative labyrinth you can walk around and engage in your own private contemplation. The tour ends on a musical note with a traditional drum and chanting session in the centre of the village. Herbal tea and fresh fruits are served to you whilst you listen. You may even be invited to join the drummers at the end of the session. Traditional jewellery, clothing and herbal remedies are made and sold in the village.
Ocho Rios

SHAW PARK GARDENS AND BAMBOO BEACH CLUB

$45.00
Your transportation will pick you up right outside the cruise ship terminal where your friendly tour guide will greet you and get your excursion started. Our first stop after a short drive is the Shaw Park Botanical Garden which is 550 feet above sea level and located on the grounds of a former hotel boasts a stunning view of Ocho Rios. The Gardens are creatively planted, resplendent with unusual flowers, plants, trees and a near perpendicular waterfall. Stroll alone through the gardens or take an expert tour guide who'll describe the sights, scent and sounds for more interest. After a short sightseeing in Ocho Rios we will take you to the fabulous Bamboo Beach club. Nestled on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, Bamboo Beach Club's tropical setting provides the perfect backdrop for a magnificent day in paradise.  This large stretch of gorgeous shoreline leaves plenty of space to choose the perfect place to sit, whether in the middle of our vibrant cultural shows, or in a more quiet and relaxing area – perhaps under our hundred year old almond and palm trees! The melodious sound of popular reggae and dancehall music lends a real cool vibe.  Smiling, friendly hostesses are a vision in white sarongs and wide straw hats.  As they circle the beach with large trays of specialty dishes and exotic cocktails, their contagious enthusiasm and genuine willingness to please highlights our ultra-pampering environment. Enjoy watching our talented group of dancers, drummers, and entertainers as they perform spirited routines right on the sand. Join the fun with your hostesses in lively line dancing sessions, or try your hand at playing the kumina drums
